Hi Everyone,
Sorry not to have posted today but it takes some time to get the piece all ready to put up and we've been dealing with the Griffith Park fire. I mean, I love LA ... really I do -- but I don't know about living in Fireywood.
Do you know, there's been 4 fires in the park since December ... over 1/4 of it is burnt? Breaks my heart thinking about all the wildlife who can't run fast enough to get away from the flames. I am a total animal lover and it's horrible. If I hear one more stupid news anchor say, "There's been no loss of life" I'm gonna go postal. Human-centric is what they are. Do they really think that a little animal burning to death doesn't hurt as much as a human? I just hate it!
And now we've got the whole summer and fall to do this fire alert thing?
I don't know if I can stand it. But anyway, I'll get the newest installment up next Wednesday, the 16th. Sorry, I'm just way too depressed and there's nothing I can do to help them. That's the worst ... feeling helpless when I know little creatures need help.
